Trouville Hotel – Isle of Wight

Stylish Hotel Interior

CHALLENGE

Working with an established business, the challenge was to re-vamp the hotel, enhancing its character and identity and through effective branding, to capitalise on its fabulous seafront location.
We had to work within a very tight budget and space, so structural alterations were limited due to planning restrictions. The site was very dated and plain and our vision was to give the space a more classic, nautical feel that tied in with it's 1930's structure and gave it a more timeless look.

HOW WE DID IT

The bedrooms were designed with beach huts in mind that gave a focal point to an otherwise plain room with a feature bedhead and new colour scheme, using natural materials and coastal inspired shapes. The dining room was given raised seating to the rear to allow for great views from those even sat to the rear of the space, whilst the Lounge was given the feel of a Yacht club, with more intimate space and thematic dressing to give it character and style.

THE RESULT

A complete re-design of all public areas - Ballroom, Dining Room and Bar Lounge, each with its own identity and colour scheme, that makes the most of this super location with stunning views out across Sandown Bay, but flows together through the interlinked spaces. A timeless, stylish hotel with a relaxed luxury feel.
