The Haunted House Monster Party at LEGOLAND in Windsor is a turning-room ride themed to tie in with the LEGO product range. It features an upscaled LEGO Haunted House and an array of mini-figure monster characters who are holding a party inside. The house itself acts as a focal point to the attraction and hides the main ride building behind.
We worked from initial concept to detail design stage, working with the client Merlin Entertainments to deliver an immersive experience from the entry portal through the pre-show and main ride. This included character development, building details and finishes, interior design and graphics.
The Haunted House Monster Party attraction was chosen as ‘Best New Ride’ at the 2019 European Star Awards ceremony in Paris. These awards recognise first class entrepreneurship and innovation within the European theme park industry and involve a panel of international experts reviewing attractions and rides across the whole of the continent.
